DirecTV is letting at least some customers cancel subscriptions to its Sunday Ticket package of NFL games and obtain refunds if they cite players national anthem protests as the reason, customer service representatives said Tuesday.

Good! Yet I read that NFL has been paid till 2021, so they are not losing income with this yet.
Are they doing this to be nice, or to deflect the blame for this fiasco?
Fear customers will cancel completely on them if they don’t allow this.
Tell that to the advertisers who operate on one year contracts.
They may see the lawsuit from season ticket holders and figure it would be good to just offer refunds if you feel like you are not getting the product you paid for.
I have Spectrum..I dont pay extra for NFL if there was a way for us to save a couple bucks Id gladly get rid it..we are already charged 188 a month for Phone, internet, and TV(They jacked up the price those SOBs)
I’m giving Comcast until the end of the year to give me a reduced rate on my cable after they remove ALL ESPN excrement from my selections.
Else, I can simply stream what I want without having to give attention to the MSM.
I threatened to cancel directv completely and they complied quickly. I was clearly not the only one based on the conversation.
