I think it’s “how do we get out of this PR nightmare without offending anyone”....
That’s exactly what I thought! Somebody did a focus group after yesterday, and it was not good.
Or then they offend everyone.
Frankly I am DONE with the whole NFL. I quit watching about 90% of the games when they railroaded Rush Limbaugh out of an ownership stake. The bigotry was plain to me. I swore the league off then.
I would still tune in for a Super Bowl or a hyped game...but only occasionally.
Now, I am finished.
I have begun to look at NFL sponsors and will work to consciously avoid them.
All that being said as a qualifier, I think the Cowboys made the CORRECT choice in STANDING for the National Anthem.
