I would say he’s pretty ticked off, and he’s not the only one........

Burning jerseys keeps you warm during the winter time.
I’m wondering (hoping?) this will be the match that lights the proverbial fire under our feet to finally - FINALLY - motivate us to get serious about returning this country to be the land of the free; the home of the brave.
Sort of a ‘black swan event’, if you will.
MAGTE (Make America Greater Than Ever).
I have not watched a down of pro ball for 10 years+ and the magical thing is I did not need a President to tell me where my moral or patriotic duties were. I am sure there are others out there that have done the same and have no hard feelings about their decision.
Everywhere one looks the news is NFL BS. Sick of the entire thing.
CURIOUS AS TO WHAT IS GOING ON IN THE REAL WORLD. IF the media is so intent on covering all aspects of this NFL crap, there must be something out there somebody doesn’t want covered.
WHAT THE ‘H’ IS IT, and who does it hurt? Must be Democrats that get hurt.
The entire NFL has chosen this hill to die upon...
And die they shall. Professional sports has gone through some agonizing confrontations with the popular will before, but the participants in the conflict accepted the consequences of their actions, and the reputation, though tarnished, was slowly revived. I speak of the Black Sox scandal of 1919. And that was just conduct of the game, having ZILCH to do with the relative patriotism of the team members.
“Say it ain’t so, Joe!”
I was completely done with them when they went “gay.”
Why wasn’t that the breaking point for more people?
Me too, and I WILL NOT watch the super bowl next year.
I have 1 jersey. Broadway Joe’s, he wasn’t a commie. But I will not watch.
“Everywhere one looks the news is NFL BS. Sick of the entire thing.”
The justice department was closing in on calling witnesses for the whole shebang of Obama, Clinton, and the Trump lies. So they had to change the subject. This has been going on for a year. Why suddenly now is it a big topic? Because they need a big topic to cover the other big topic they are losing on.

I’ve been boycotting since Kapernick started his antics.
If I had to guess, for most people, there just comes a point when the line is crossed. I know season ticket holders that are against this behavior and are still going to the games while holding their noses. It hasn’t burst for them yet, but it will.
Because that didn’t spread like this. Too many players jumped on the wagon this time.
I’m with you, the signs were there all along.

Actually, some teams went whole hog "gay" when that what's-his-face "out" ball player sucked the face of his "boyfriend" publicly. It was more widespread than you remember.
No longer have NFL gear but I’ve got my Orlando Magic gear ready to flambe.
If a bunch of players came out of the closet and were wearing Rainbow cleets, fairy flapping in the end zone, then perhaps it would have.
I get it, teams were trying to sign him if he had been good enough. But we also weren’t dealing with a year and a half of the media trying to start Civil War II. Plus, this latest NFL incident/protest has been going on for a full year.
I now refer to the NFL as NAAFL = National Anti-American Football League! Last week is the last game that I will watch.
I also blocked the NFL channel on my TV system, so no one else will watch any future game on my system.
