FIRST QUARTER: END THE GREAT COLLEGE ANTHEM HIDEOUT

It is amazing that roughly 100 seconds of 200-year-old music could cause a nationwide uproar, but that’s where we are in modern America and modern football. The national anthem, which has an illogical but likely irrevocable attachment to sporting events, overshadowed the games it precedes Sunday.

Why????? These college players can attend a protest a day during the week. It is college after all. Does Mr. Forde have a death wish or is he jealous the NFL writers have an excuse to write Leftist drivel?

There were some college FB protests last season. Michigan, Michigan State, and Nebraska players disrespected the anthem for sure.

No doubt there were others, and probably also this year, but they don’t seem to be getting much publicity.

Those with NFL ability wi protest by going on strike during the bowl games to avoid injury.

Nebraska did have some players on their knees when they played at Illinois, but for home games, the national anthem is played before the players take the field.
