It has become much more difficult for ordinary families to go to a ball game.

The thieving, rent-seeking bastards don't give a tinker's damn about 'families'.

Well, to be fair, no one is supposed to really give a damn about anything and/or any one else other than their own personal group(s) of family and friends.

That you can put on a smiling face in order to facilitate a sale, or work around the clock in order to deliver a good/service to the satisfaction of a paying customer, is one of the hallmarks of capitalism. That is, if everyone focuses on their own self interest - absent force or fraud - then efficiency and order will result.

The NFL has always been an entertainment enterprise. To the extent they put an excellent product on the table is why they became so popular. But, as the Greek tragedies depicted thousands of years ago, ego & hubris fell even the giants.

Once the mask is torn off, the true face is there for all to see: a manipulative, greedy, debauched, anti-family, anti-American, entertainment vehicle identical to their Hollywood brethren.
