I pity anyone who ever stumbles into a relationship with either of these low-lifes. I pity their kid most of all, who had no choice in the matter.
And this is called “news” and worthy of being put on FR?
Last week’s crime report in the Washington Post was much more interesting and informative than this sports gossip.
It is a rare occurrence when a man claims to be the victim of domestic assault. That makes it news. It is a societal issue more so than sports.
Albert Haynsworth, he of the $100million contract is 6’8” tall and 300 pounds. For him to be a victim she’s gotta be Samoan.
No, she can have him arrested just for causing her to feel threatened...no contact required.
Look at Haynesworth’s writing—not even on an eighth grade level yet he must have (and perhaps was awarded a diploma) from a college somewhere. He has to be the poster-boy for all the NCAA ads that portray the student athlete bs.
Signed the huge contract, based on past performance and then decided he didn’t need to play to that level ever again.
Incorrect. I was such a victim.
All it takes is a woman who gets drunk and hits, and a man who was trained by his mother to never EVER hit a woman.
I don’t disagree with the assessment, Laz. My point was that few men go public in such a case. Perhaps there is a stigma attached. I don’t know the full series of events with this particular story but for a man of his stature, to make it known, is a rarity.
Not mentioned is Haynesworth’s record of violence and law-breaking.
Sexual assault, reckless driving, violent confrontations (including with NFL teammates) as well as numerous on-field penalties for thuggery.
