Published articles say he was 20 feet away, he was carrying an "all purpose utility tool" which he had identified as a knife when he made the initial call to describe himself to the 9-1-1 operator, continued to advance when warned, and after been told again to stop and drop the weapon, did neither.
We all know media accounts can be fragmentary, garbled, and incomplete. But based on what's been published, seriously, tell me: is there something I missed?
