Corrected copy:

Tatooos are bug ugly.

When I was young, only sailors working class people had them, and they usually had only one. I cringe when I see a beautiful woman who has spoiled her looks with graffiti.

If I were planning to be on this earth another 40 years, I would invest heavily in tattoo removal technology/companies. People will tire of them.

My daughters knew growing up, they would be disinherited if they got one.

I have never really had a problem in the old days with a guy getting a small or medium nondescript tattoo on an arm, forearm, or calf, but I grew up in a Navy family and saw lots of guys with them, so it seemed normal to me.

I also don’t mind if a woman has a discreet one, that is, one that can’t be seen with normal clothing, or if seen in a bikini or underwear, is small and discreet.

On a woman, they are a turn off to me, including the “tramp stamp” kind. Doesn’t mean I can’t find a woman with one attractive, but it doesn’t weigh positively in the overall appearance index everyone has. I just don’t find a woman attractive at all with large, prominent, visible tattoos.

There is nothing appealing about a tattoo whatsoever. Male or female.

Military tattoos should have gone out with Popeye. I was in the Marine Corps back in the 1980s and even back then, tattoos were highly discouraged. One of our COs said that if he found out anybody in his unit got one, he'd have them written up for destruction of government property.
