Doubt it’s patentable,,, water freezes .. always has.. $0.25 a cube and up is strictly for the Manhattan crowd... anyone with a water filter , a freezer and a band saw can duplicate it...
You still have the same amount of water for the amount of chilling.
OTOH, looking at the photo it is just about all ice.
Chills drink before melting. Just don’t sip.
They already sell ice cube makers that make dense, odd shaped ice. The only trick is to make sure there is no air in the water before it freezes. FUJI water will freeze really well.
