It’s a monsterously large fish, but must not have many predators. It may not even be that dangerous unless it is fast, aggressive and tends to attack in groups. Look at how small the mouth is in proportion to everything else. I don’t see any big jaw bones to open wide and swallow or bite anything massive. Perhaps it lives mostly on vegetation.
Saw quite a few of them while on an albacore boat off the SoCal coast. Huge fish with a very small mouth, swims along like it doesn’t have a care in the world. Of course we dropped a line in to try to catch it, but it showed absolutely no interest no matter the bait/lure. They do jump and make quite a splash.
