Some guy a decade or so back had leased several blocks of the area below the I-880 in Oakland for storage. He either died or just abandoned it, and we got called in there to tally up all the hazmat and get rid of it. There were several Citroens and Panhards under there among the cars (I called it “The place Pontiac vista cruisers go to die” because there was about a dozen under there.

I kick myself thinking about it because there were pallets of new in box parts scattered under there, OEM stuff for 40’s to 60’s/70’s era cars. Not bauble and gewgaw stuff either, rods, bearings, pistons, cranks etc...

Pontiac vista cruisers

That was oldsmobile. We bought my Father-in-law's 1970 vista cruiser and loved it. My parents had a 1966 vista cruiser that took nine of us from Alabama to California and back, camping all the way. I must say that vista domes are the only way to see the Giant Redwoods, the Golden Gate Bridge or a modern downtown megacity metropolis.
