Shaun King is a flagrant racist liar, that’s not news. I WISH NFL owners would just go on record and all say no one disrespecting the flag and anthem will play for their team, but that is not what Lurie said about it.

Welcome to the NFL/ESPN soap opera. A great way to waste your time.

I want to know exactly what kind of money and contract terms Kaepernick is asking for.

Until we know that, the claims of racial discrimination are just self-serving political hot air.

Kaepernick had a 90.7 QB Rating in 12 games last year, which is good, very solid.

On the other hand, his pass completion percentage was 59.2%, and his record was 1-10 for eleven starts, which is terrible.

Was San Francisco that bad? Were the offensive line, the running backs, and the receivers that bad? Or, was Kaepernick also really bad?

Plus, Kaepernick made the decision to renegotiate his contract to become a free agent in 2017. He was not released by San Francisco.

If I was a Head Coach or General Manager, and my QB situation was desperate, I would pay $8-$9 million guaranteed for one year to see if Kaepernick still had the passion and the skills to play.

But, if Kaepernick is asking for more than that, I think very few teams will even give him a look.

At this point the only way I will even think about watching another NFL game is if the team owners NFL mgmt grow a pair, step up to the plate and tell these overpaid jocks to cut the crap, and even then when Rodger Godell is removed as commissioner. This is not Pete Rozelle’s NFL. At least the dustups that occurred up between him and Broadway Joe Namath were entertaining.

I hope Lurie did say that, and I hope he means it.
