“Crime of passion. Temporary insanity defense”
A rare case of instant justice. Temporary sanity.
She’s a rarity! :)
Semi-happy ending. Truly happy would be him dead.
It can be proven that the loss of "soundness" was the result of her observing her child in danger, and that her anger overcame her reason. Since she recovered her reason once the rage had passed, it was only temporary.
Thus, a defense of temporary insanity.
"Insanity" has a very precise legal meaning; it does NOT mean "crazy."
[ Dont you think that the mother failed her daughter at all, by allowing this person into her house? ]
Oh yeah, she immensely failed her daughter by allowing in this creep.
I did and no offense I do not seek an argument but all I read a person that was doing that needed to be done to defend her daughter by any means possible against this creep granted she needs to stay away from men like this guy in the future, and I just did not think it has anything to do with the whole girl power crap, and the brutal reality is that women cannot always depend on men for protection and will have to defend themselves at this incident proves, just my two cents.
I agree. She was not likely motivated by the "grrl power" crap. She was motivated by defending her daughter. Motivations aside, this action does have some bearing on the "grrl power" crap; those who think it reasonable that a small woman should be able to beat up multiple large men (as TV and movies show) should think again.
