The din during the intermission of a recent performance of the Broadway-bound musical Frozen might have broken decibel records at Denver Centers Buell Theater. No doubt the houses hum was amped by the higher-pitched voices of the booster-seat crowd, but if Disney Theatrical Productions aim was to age up the demographic of the animated blockbusters stage adaptation, theyve succeeded. In its live rendition of Let It Go, the signature tune from the 2014 Oscar winner, the musical wows adults as much as kids with a brilliant spectacle as poignant as it is jaw-dropping that should ensure the production a hearty run in New York, where the show begins Broadway previews in February.

Worth hundreds of dollars per ticket to have some little girl on her booster seat screech "Let it Go" in your ear???

Better keep Walt Disney frozen. He’d riot if he ever saw what homofascists did to his namesake company.

This musical MUST be protested by Scandanavian groups, since it features TWO BLACK ACTORS. Utterly sickening. Both the lead for Kristoff and understudy for Anna (!) are BLACK. This from a musical that takes place in an explicit replica of the cultures of Denmark, Iceland, and Norway, in a time where they would not even have known that Black people existed. Just imagine if they case a White actor as Moana or Maui in a Broadway version of "Moana". It would be a national scandal.

I’m sure they’ll gay it up for Broadway.

I wonder if The Lion King is hiring white actors.

I wonder... is this essentially the same production that is running at Disneyland's California Adventure?

Just imagine if they case a White actor as Moana or Maui in a Broadway version of "Moana". It would be a national scandal. Or Porgy and Bess.
Just like teh politically correct furor that forced the recent closing of Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812, a Tony Award nominee for Best Musical this year. A black actor who had replaced a white actor in the lead was not selling tickets, so he was to be replaced by a white actor who was a name-above-the-title star. The PC crowd and the race hustlers made a stink, he withdrew, and teh show was forced to close.
There is your recent example of what would happen in your scenario.

Walt must be rolling over in his grave at what’s been done to his company. The Disney family needs to reclaim it.
