(fill article title: Mother's fury as placard-waving vegan activists FILM her shopping in the meat aisle at Sainsbury's and 'intimidate' her nine-year-old daughter into declaring she's vegetarian)

A mother was left fuming after 12 'scary' vegan activists 'intimidated' her four children during a protest in a supermarket meat aisle.

Louise Kirby, from Bolton, Greater Manchester, said placard-waving protesters scared nine-year-old daughter Sophie so much that she suddenly declared herself a vegetarian in the Sainsbury's.

The Bolton Chicken Save activists stood silently with placards in front of meat fridges, frightening the mother-of-four as they uploaded a video of the family shopping to the internet.

The 38-year-old said her usual weekly shop took a sinister turn when she told Sophie about the meat on offer in the supermarket as activists stared intently.

'It was really surreal,' she said. 'I had my head in the shelves and told her about some of the bargains they had when she suddenly said "I’m vegetarian, I don’t eat anything here".

'I laughed and said "don’t be silly, since when?".

'I looked up and at that point I felt the atmosphere change - you could cut it with a knife - it was really scary.

The group - who held placards plastered with slogans and animals - were escorted from the store after a member of staff intervened.

But as they were led out, one activist turned and pointed at Mrs Kirby's children, saying: 'We’re only here to save the babies and children.’

With the mamsy pamsy schools today, I’m surprised your daughter wasn’t expelled for stating the obvious and escorted off campus by the sheriff.

Never could understand a country who’s citizens are starving yet they worship cattle.

What, like she couldn’t have eaten a side dish? Those with special diets should bring their own food and not whine about what others eat.

Ever hear the saying “just shoot me?” Putting them out of their misery would be more humane.

OK Mr. Holier-than-thou...
Would you like to do the honors?

Be careful ... Steak (or other pieces of solid beef): yes. Or cooked hams. I wouldn't do that with raw hamburger, pork, or poultry ...

That reminds me.
I love the internet and it rarely takes me more than 40 seconds or so to find answers to just about anything...

But there are some conspiracies of silence, and it's literally frightening...

There is currently a health warning about salmonella deaths and warning due to Papayas from Mexico.

there have been about a dozen deaths and hundreds of serious sickness hospitalizations.
Even the US Dept of Health is reluctant clearly to answer the simple question directly :

What is the usual cause/source of the &^%$#$#@ freaking salmonella food infection?

Took me a half hour to get a wishy-washy reluctant answer!!!!

Human or animal feces indifference on the part of the growers/handlers. Unclear instruction and discussion of the efficacy of washing the food as a remedy...

IOW, the Messicans are messing on their hands, and then handling our food. Yuck.

Thanks for the warning!

The Ctrl-Left disgusts me. If they don’t want to eat meat, that’s okay with me. If they want to intimidate normal people, I am more than happy to see decent conservatives intimidate them back, far more effectively. Then they will be the ones crying to Mommy, instead of the poor child who was terrorized by these thugs.

Sincerest apologies, Ms. Boardwalk.
In my defense, I left my Ouija Board in my other suit...
