(fill article title: Mother's fury as placard-waving vegan activists FILM her shopping in the meat aisle at Sainsbury's and 'intimidate' her nine-year-old daughter into declaring she's vegetarian)
A mother was left fuming after 12 'scary' vegan activists 'intimidated' her four children during a protest in a supermarket meat aisle.
Louise Kirby, from Bolton, Greater Manchester, said placard-waving protesters scared nine-year-old daughter Sophie so much that she suddenly declared herself a vegetarian in the Sainsbury's.
The Bolton Chicken Save activists stood silently with placards in front of meat fridges, frightening the mother-of-four as they uploaded a video of the family shopping to the internet.
The 38-year-old said her usual weekly shop took a sinister turn when she told Sophie about the meat on offer in the supermarket as activists stared intently.
'It was really surreal,' she said. 'I had my head in the shelves and told her about some of the bargains they had when she suddenly said "Im vegetarian, I dont eat anything here".
'I laughed and said "dont be silly, since when?".
'I looked up and at that point I felt the atmosphere change - you could cut it with a knife - it was really scary.
The group - who held placards plastered with slogans and animals - were escorted from the store after a member of staff intervened.
But as they were led out, one activist turned and pointed at Mrs Kirby's children, saying: 'Were only here to save the babies and children.

I think we are the dominant species and we run the thing. I oppose animal cruelty, but the definition of animal cruelty has been skewed by the left.
Yes. When I have trained one of my dogs I have had to use (minimal) corporal punishment. I am truly a monster.
I said beaten into submission not minimal corporate punishment. A dog is not an elephant. Live it learn it.
LOL!!! Good idea.
Be careful ... Steak (or other pieces of solid beef): yes. Or cooked hams. I wouldn't do that with raw hamburger, pork, or poultry ...
That’s why I said steak
Just putting it out there for the lurkers’ benefit.
Gotcha.
It would be fun to see them run screaming.
“In the grocery, Id be tempted to grab a steak, rip it open and take a healthy bite out of it right in front of them to watch them run screaming.”
Better to notify the store manager so he can film the event and call police. Then purchase a steak & stage your counterprotest.
That way the store will regard you as an ally.
Who told you that?
Anyway I defer to the mahouts of India. They’ve been trading elephants for thousands of years. And they put them to work. Like we’ve done with horses and oxen. Sometimes the whip comes out. It should be used judiciously.
Check out Post #14, if you haven’t already seen it. ;’}
Yeah India they know whats up. They worship cows. Defer to that.
Liberals have embraced shaming culture to a degree far beyond what the Puritans did in the “Scarlet Letter”.
For example, you were only shamed publicly after being caught and having a hearing. You didn’t risk a career or physical safety for one 5 second snippet potentially taken out of context or even altered.
They only punished the guilty person, not embarrassing spouses and children. In contrast, liberal bullies went after Sargon of Akkad’s girlfriend, Twitter de-verified Scott Adams’ of Dilbert’s girlfriend twice to hurt her income, routinely harass friends and family of their victims.
They didn’t go around shaming people to the world but only the local community, the degree controlled by those same relationships. Liberal bullies have no issue engaging thousands of strangers because it is an unreal video game to them, a competition to be as cruel as possible.
The Christian shaming had limited timeframes of hours or days, rarely ever a lifetime punishment. And it was proportional, not a lifetime of death threats for minor offenses.
I purposely had a pig roast when my children were little to make it clear to them that we eat animals. My wife also dressed a deer that was given to us by a neighbor. Both were so tasty.
I was determined to vaccinate my children against the Bambi propaganda.
When, one day my six year old daughter asked her mother, “Mommy, do people eat bunnies?”
“Yes ... they do.” My wife was fearful that cute bunnies might cause my daughter discomfort.
Then, my daughter responded, “Do they taste good?” Bingo. Mission accomplished.
Decade back, when we moved back to Virginia, we bought a house, and invited people to a “Housewarming Barbeque”.
My Lefty sister shows up, and immediately complains that there are no alternative dishes for her vegan sensitivities. I smile and asked her to follow me. I opened the back door, pointed to the back yard, and told her to graze to her heart’s content, I had purposely not mowed it, knowing she was coming. . .
LOL ... I’ll definitely follow the lead of the “spiritually evolved” orcas ...
And we eat bread and wine which is transmogrified into the body and blood of our Lord.
Heh, heh!
;^)
Militant vee-gans? Who knew?
The cops should have been called and the freaks arrested for trespassing and assault on the children.
Hey, Sophie, see those pancakes you’re enjoying? Where do you think the butter came from? How about those eggs in the batter? Yeah, have a side of bacon while you think about your sudden new found vegetarianism.
I knew a woman who claimed she was vegetarian. She’d order a pepperoni pizza and throw the meat in the trash. The poor pig was killed to make the pepperoni she refused to eat but tossed him into the garbage. Now, please, explain how that is honoring or saving an animal? Of curse, there was the meat juice still left on the pizzas which she ate.
She also enjoyed Pork ‘n Beans and freaked out when someone finally told her the secret of the little white cubes. As if the name wasn’t a clue.
