True, but they just lost 10 or 11 games in a row. When it comes to the post season, you can throw out all the records ... the hottest team wins it all.

When it comes to the post season, you can throw out all the records ... the hottest team wins it all.You are absolutely right. The record is impressive and historic but means nothing in the playoffs. Sometimes a team can peak too soon and even a wild card team can pick off a 100+ game winning team.

It is too early to tell which team/s will be hot going into the playoffs.
When in doubt, go with the teams with the best pitching, in this case it is also the Indians and Dodgers.
