Hey, you were hating on a baseball thread a couple days ago.
How did baseball hurt you so badly??
And did you know Michael A. Taylor hit a grand slam inside the park home run? He did.

I don’t hate baseball, although among the “team sports,” it’s probably my least favorite. I simply think that a large segment of our mostly adult male population gives inordinate attention to all “professional sports.” Seemingly, they want to live vicarious lives in front of their “big screens,” drinking the “correct beer,” eating only the “correct foods,” all the time blowing farts and addling their brains with sports trivia. There isn’t any perspective in their lives as to what’s really important, and they damage their kids with their penchant for “sports.” I had a professional engineer who worked for me back when OJ Simpson was on trial for killing his wife and Ron Goldman, and he “knew” OJ didn’t do it simply because “he was a sports figure.” We have a country that’s in dire straits right now, and yet we have people who can’t vote intelligently, but they can give you a long list of worthless, overpaid, mostly black “professional athletes” and what their “accomplishments” on the field of play are. To me, it’s just nuts.
Yes, that was quite a play. Very exciting, and gutsy. This is the way I like to see the game played.
