It’s total b.s. fake symbolism. They import virtually all of their oil and gas needs, and 75% of their electricity is provided by nuclear (one area in which they have had much saner policy than most countries). They have no “domestic” supply of oil and gas worth discussing.

Actually, it’s better than what the Left typically does, in that there are virtually no negative ramifications of the action.

Nice thing about such an extreme production of energy via nuclear reactors is the odds of not needing petroleum chemical powered street lamps a thousand years from now with the nice glow in the dark effect of the buildup of nuclear waste.
