Your statements in post #37 add NOTHING factual regarding Petreaus, just additional claims about Petraeus you are making - no sources, no facts, just more opinion about the meaning of Petraeus activities.

A conspiracy theory on such flimsy evidence is not a theory at all, just mental ramblings in my opinion.

Granted I am no fan of McCain and the Neocons, but you’ve shown me nothing convincing concerning the “get the U.S. into war with North Korea” agenda you say Petraeus is on.

Are you incapable of fact checking for yourself what others summarize? Are you demanding others work for you?

The information is so easy to find. It’s everywhere. Why have you not bothered to make the effort to verify it?

Here is a ‘sampling’ that is less than a percent of the information that is at your fingertips:

1. Trump, McMaster and the Petraeus legacy (Asia Times)
http://www.atimes.com/article/trump-mcmaster-petraeus-legacy
A primer on the reality of David Petraeus’s legacy.

2. Petraeus planning massive war in Syria
http://rickwells.us/report-mcmaster-petraeus-planning-unilateral-war-syria-150000-us-troops

“The operation would be substantial, including the deployment of 150,000 ground troops to Syria. Petraeus is reportedly on board to help him sell the idea to President Trump, with war-mongering Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham already making the rounds of television interview programs to prepare the American public for the idea. What’s the point of having all of these missiles and bombs if you don’t get to use them to blow things up, eh, boys? They’re not really practical for killing terrorists.”

“Special Operations Vets, including General Joseph Votel have raised serious concerns over his plans for Syria and for his sharing of classified information with Petraeus, who no longer has his security clearance after it was revoked in his own security scandal. Of course one really can’t get much more into the deep state establishment web than former CIA Director General Petraeus, who was being considered for the position McMasters, his prodigy, now holds. Under the current arrangement, he was able to avoid the embarrassment and difficulty of confirmation hearings and still be involved in the decision-making process.”

Petraeus also instructed McMaster to remove Bannon from the NSC.

This report is one of hundreds spanning years showing Petraeus is the puppeteer. Petraeus is compromised as a result of extensive Obama surveillance on him. The Left, the Neocons, the Deep State have the goods on him, enough to send him to prison if he doesn’t comply with their scripts. He can easily be ruined if he does not follow the role set out for him.

One telltale sign is how Petraeus suddenly, inexplicably at a Senate Armed Services Hearin in March 2017 blamed the Mideast conflicts on ‘the Joos’ which is a standard Neocon fallback. That played right into Obama’s directives to downplay anything calling attention to Radical Islam and to direct blame for diplomatic failures on Israel, especially PM Netanyahu. Months into the Trump Presidency, David is still carrying water for Obama but this time with prodding from McCain.

It doesn’t take long to understand that Petraeus is owned by the ‘Deep State’ and that includes answering to Senator McCain. McCain hates Trump so we can bet that his relationship with Petraeus is one that directs Petraeus to do all in his power to bring Trump to heel.

3. Petraeus and the Senate Armed Services Committee
https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2016/11/28/state-contender-petraeus-knowingly-leaked-secrets-biographer-lied-fbi/94547624
Petraeus has also remained a favorite of Senate heavyweights such as Sen. John McCain, the Arizona Republican and chairman of the Armed Services Committee, and the leading Democrat on the panel, Jack Reed of Rhode Island.

They praised him in January after Pentagon officials concluded that Petraeus be allowed to retain his four stars in retirement, a decision that allowed him to maintain a pension of around $220,000 per year. The senators wrote that Petraeus had a “long career of exceptionally distinguished, honorable and dedicated service to our nations and to the soldiers he so brilliantly led in combat.”

The above was after Petraeus had turned over extremely sensitive classified material to his mistress/biographer:
“The notebooks he forwarded contained a trove of the nation’s most guarded secrets, including secret code words, the names of covert operatives, war strategy, intelligence capabilities and mechanisms, and discussions at the highest levels of the national security establishment, including the president.”

McCain’s gesture to Petraeus was a signal that McCain’s Deep State affiliations were now the owners of Petraeus’s future. It’s easy to infer the Petraeus would end up dead or in prison if McCain withdrew support. However, Petraeus needed to be utilized in McCain’s Armed Services network and so was placed in a position created with the private equity group ($100+ billion) KKR.

4. Petraeus joins KKR (numerous links)
Petraeus heads KKR Global (Kohlberg, Kravis and Roberts) and became a frequent Bilderberg attendee; member of CFR
This reveals unequivocally that Petraeus is Deep State. Despite having no investment experience and having disgraced himself, he is placed in a high profile influential position covering all the organizations that are diametrically opposed to Trump’s populist appeal. His position with KKR serves to provide him financial and accounting expertise support for signing deals made between the Senate Armed Services Committee and hundreds of major defense contractors and defense associations. He is a co-founder with Henry Kravis (Director of the investment fund KKR). They both collaborated to arm and train the Sunni forces in Iraq which later became ISIS. Presently, Petraeus directs which wars to prepare for and oversees plans for their execution. In other words, he is the point man for war spoils.

5. David Petraeus Should Not Make The Cabinet. He’s Just Hillary Clinton In A Better Pantsuit
http://thefederalist.com/2016/12/06/petraeus-just-hillary-in-a-better-pantsuit
This a most damning summary of who Petraeus truly is in terms of actions and ideology.

Petraeus attempts to present himself as apolitical, a neutral party, but his actions and words are in line with the politically correct ideology of Deep State actors. In this context, Petraeus can easily be understood to a version of James Comey in a military uniform.

********************************************************

Do yourself a favor and take up some study. You will be more clear about what is happening with conflicts in the world. As for Korea, Petraeus has been talking in wishful terms for an opportunity to carry his corporate sponsors into that conflict for profit. Petraeus is not inclined to make it a quick and over with affair. He will design the conflict to optimize the benefit for all those Deep State sponsors. And the point made from the beginning is that the conflict will be directed to engulf the Trump Administration so that all other MAGA like concerns become of secondary importance. In sum, Korea is the death of the MAGA agenda that Trump campaigned on.

In May 2017 Petraeus continues to ‘market’ war and floats the prospect of war with China. (Video 2.5 minutes)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=COnkA3muUrU

As in-depth study and tracking are made of Petraeus, it becomes clear he is a softly spoken player that personifies warmongering; a soft warmonger. That is what he does. When his relationship with McCain is held in focus, it becomes quite clear that war is their business for profit and Petraeus is leading its marketing and planning.

No doubt that Korea is a concern. No doubt also that Iran is a concern, as are Venezuela and others. But the point is that Trump will need appropriations from Congress and McCain will be there to extract concessions using Petraeus’s influence via McMaster to steer the President ‘their way’.

And if Trump does not fall in line with the Neocons, then there will be yet another headline coming from NK. The Neocon warmongers are gunning for Donald Trump.

My hope is that the President can present what he needs via General Mattis. But that doesn’t account for the skulduggery of McCain. McCain is just a figurehead. It will be interesting to see how Donald will get through this.
