LIDL is new to the USA with only a few stores, but big plans. Their behavior needs to be corrected now by communication or business killing boycotts.

“LIDL is new to the USA with only a few stores, but big plans.”

Their actions, if done in this country in full, are not going to help their big plans. This is a country of religious freedoms they, obviously, do not understand. According to ABC, eighty-three percent of Americans identify themselves as Christians. Most of the rest, 13 percent, have no religion. That leaves just 4 percent as adherents of all non-Christian religions combined — Jews, Muslims, Buddhists and a smattering of individual mentions.

When that 83% gets tired of being “put upon,” the kick back will cover a lot more than just a product in a store. But I believe it will cover actions like it. And those “big plans” will turn into big losses..

But this is behind the times. Ramadan support products or services have been displayed for sale or use by a number of companies already in the US. And for it, I will not give them my business. Subway, TGI Fridays, American Airlines, Cisco Systems, Apple, Google, Oracle, and the democratic party leaders to include Hilary Clinton and Bernie Sanders (http://www.arabamericannews.com/2016/06/10/Leaders-and-companies-extend-Ramadan-wishes/).

But this is really a small amount of them. As I find them. I stop supporting the company, person, what they represent, and their sponsors. It is my way of slapping back at religious pandering using political correctness that has been allowed to be determined as religious persecution and religious freedom. Way too many things like it being hammered into Christianity and it’s practitioners.
