No, standard issue black hair brown eyes. Did not know that about Abruzzese. In my 72 years, I have never met a red hair Italian. Many blond hair and blue eyed, most likely of Swiss heritage.
The ones I knew had sort of rust color hair and blue eyes, with pale olive skin.
