Completely devoid of any new ideas aren't you Hollywood. That's why we end up with 2 or 3 ‘The hangover’ sequels which was a really dumb movie but hell, it put butts in the seats and that's all they care about.

It was a lousy book, that made a lousy movie and now let’s remake it as another lousy movie.It's a literary masterpiece.
The movie was lousy, as you say. And I'm sure the remake will be even worse.
