I am thinking that this “Anne Frank” center does not, in fact, understand anything about history and is dishonoring her name.
*POTUS is giving military equipment to police.
—Police buy it, as they have for decades. And against violent, well-armed criminal enterprises, the police actually need the heavy equipment.
*He wants Congress to change the rules to give him more power.
—What does this even mean?
*He praised the neo-Nazi white supremacists of Charlottesville.
—Is there a shred of evidence to support this? I’m thinking that if Trump’s closest followers missed this, it probably didn’t happen. He certainly made no tweet to that effect.
*He is deporting children of diverse backgrounds.
—So? Neither the USA nor any other country is under any obligation to take in, feed, clothe, and educate the children citizens of another nation. And their parents do not have any right to smuggle them into the US to get “free” stuff paid for by the taxpayers who have their own families to take care of.
*He pardoned a Sheriff who violated the rule of law and terrorized immigrants.
—Clearly, this fiction was invented to have some resemblance of the real pardoning of Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who was persecuted by an activist judge who was trying to strong-arm him into not enforcing the law. Illegal aliens are *not* immigrants, any more than someone who breaks into your house is a house guest.
*He took away civil rights won by a people through his transgender troops ban.
—Obviously, whoever came up with this is extremely confused and uninformed. “Transgender” is neither an ethnic nor a racial people. Furthermore, at no point in America’s history have sexually obsessed mentally ill people been welcomed into the military. Obama tried to make this a reality, but Trump (thank God) reversed Obama’s really bad policy.
The Anne Frank center might try studying a little bit of history for a change. This constant drumbeat telling us that anyone who stands up for civil rights, for sanity, for national security, etc., is a Nazi/racist/bigot/etc., is not much different than the smear campaign the Nazis ran against people of a certain religious background. In the end, once enough people are convinced that people of a different group are subhuman, then the killings start. This “Anne Frank” center seems to be firmly on the side of those doing the dehumanization of anyone who stands up for human decency—and thus, makes itself part of the problem.
I think the little liar means the same nuclear option that the Democrats used to ram crap through congress when they had control and Zero was in office..
