Americans aren't staying away from theaters to send a message to liberal Hollywood. They're staying away from theaters because the movies suck and instead watching liberal Hollywood at home on their 65" 4k UHD TVs.
Yes, the movies suck!! But they are so awful because of the lack of imagination of narrow-minded leftist Hollywood types!!!!
A night at the movies for 2 easily runs $50 for 2 people (tickets, parking, popcorn and soda). You end up sitting in a theatre having to listen to others “whisper”, the occasional phone lighting up, getting kicked in the back of the chair by the bored child behind you. If you have to go to the bathroom, you cannot pause the movie. Or, you can go home and put on your comfy clothes, snuggle with your honey, eat whatever you want, pause for bio breaks ... for a fraction of the price. On top of all that add in that most of what is coming out now is agenda driven crap ... and why GO to the movies?

The Xbox attached gets You Tube, and You Tube has the great ones made in the 30’s to 50’s. Too many to watch. Been watching all those newer Polish, Hungarian, Russian and German made films. What ever happened to Randolf Scott? He’s all over the place on Youtube, Jimmy Stewart, Erroll Flynn, Cagney and Bogart too.
