At least that is my unqualified thinking so far.
I make a smoothie with mixed frozen berries, but I avoid the higher carb fruits, like the sweeter tropical ones (mango, banana, pineapple).
Also if you put in some protein powder and flaxseed oil it will cause less of a blood sugar spike.
lol! the veggies probably help moderate the sugar a bit. Sounds like a delicious smoothie. I might mix one up before I do yardwork next and see if it makes pulling weeds more tolerable!
