As others have said, she was definitely down. I saw it myself about 2:00 CDT.
If you read Site 5’s letter, IIRC, she has until August 28th to migrate her files to a new site. Site 5 gave her a reprieve until Monday.

i b believe it IS her real name because she has stated in previous posts(namely her koran burning video) her name AND ADDRESS for any and all that want to take issue with her,,, a braver women in MY life i've never seen...

I don't know which of us started using it first but I have been using the same statement in Latin for at least a year. It is a paraphrase of Marcus Porcius Cato's (Cato the Elder), "Ceterum censeo Carthaginem esse delendam". (Furthermore, I consider that Carthage must be destroyed)

Heck, might not be a bad idea for the whole conservative community. Someone needs to start thinking about this.
I think it's a good plan, but we need someone sort of already in the business. I'm not terribly knowledgeable about this, but it seems to me that in order to set up a conservative network or hosting services, you are going to need a huge server farm and many high speed connections to the net.
Do you know anyone that already has this stuff?
I think ICAAN can screw up Free Republic, but I believe Free Republic owns their own servers, so probably nobody else can stop it other than by using Denial of Service attacks.
Yes, I've been informed by a lot of people about this. Somehow I got misinformed that it was a pseudonym. I think I ran across some links that mentioned a "Saint Ann Bernhardt" and so I just assumed she had taken the name from a Saint.
