Whats curious about this...is that a Army-mother is typically given about sixty days max after giving birth, and is generally expected to then be deployable.

The problem I see with the 238 day thing is that the guy is paid for this entire period as if he were capable of being deployed. If some idiot were to approach the NBA or NFL and say he was going transgender and would be missing the bulk of next season...the team would just let the guy go and refuse to pay his contract.

Yeah, and on day 239 they are just a normal, healthy, well-adjusted guy who cut his penis off. /s

Anything that lessens the effective fighting ability of the military must not be done!

I am the least racist guy you could ever meet... but I understand the reasoning behind the decision to segregate the force by race in the past....because not doing it at that time would have reduced effective fighting ability. that is NOT true today.

I believe that at this time having transsexual soldiers could reduce the capabilities of the military...this may not be true at some time in the future....

The military is only for killing people and breaking things.

I wish there was no need for a military...but we do not live in such a utopian world :-(

New women will never ever be able to ‘deploy’ again.

Don’t know if anyone here saw the Fox segment yesterday with General Boykin explaining the issue, and the homosexual Army Ranger going to bat (no pun intended) for transgender military. I would say Boykin calmly explained why they should not be in the military, while the homo ranger got a bit excited explaining how ready tranies were and how many there were already ready. I believe Boykin won the day, but there are lots of loud voices and squeaky wheels on the other side or what should not be debated.

We all know if some poor devil wants to whack off his pecker and grow some tits it is his prerogative, but the tax payers do not need to foot the bill for this insanity. We sure do not need to wait nearly a year for the sick individuals to get ready for some Muzzies to abuse it

Obama used the military as a way to have taxpayers fund sex-change operations for all of his fellow-travelers in the LGBT community. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Thank you President Trump for putting an end to this scam.

Just don't call these gender dysphorics a word that rhymes with cranny, or FB will suspend you for a week.

It’s not just the surgery, I’ve been told. These poor souls also require a constant supply of hormones not naturally present in their bodies to maintain their illusions. Don’t know that these hormones would be available in a wartime/deployment setting.

The only ELECTIVE surgery that is necessary is for Lasix for vision reasons as glasses hamper their ability as soldiers. No one tells them it’s only good for about a decade. Or the Dry Eye Syndrome that comes with it.

It’s not even covered as a medical necessity under Tricare Life when cataract implants are done badly. I ought to know, just having spent $5K+ to have badly done cataract implants fixed. Now fighting Dry Eye Syndrome. Had to have both lower tear ducts cauterized closed, and will have the uppers done on Monday. I make no tear film anymore. Get dry spots on corneas. Eyes fill full of sand.

The math on this sucks. An enlistee joins the service and spends two or more months in basic training, depending on which service he joined. He then goes on to technical training, which can last from several weeks to more than a year. After that he gets sent to he permanent assignment where he spends a year or more learning how to actually do his job. That means he’s only got about two years where he would be subject to deployment, since the military doesn’t like sending trainees to hot spots.

238 days would mean that this guy would be undeployable for two 180 day deployment cycles. That’s half of his remaining enlistment. Bottom line is that the tranny wanna-be joined the service, got free job training, government funded sex change surgery, and will probably never have to actually do what he was paid for.

They’re dependant on hormone therapy, which makes them non-deployable!

There are others allowed to stay in that are not world-wide deployable that burdens those who are to more time in the field... I hope this is used to boot them also.
