Years ago, gator. My daughter (now 30) broke her collarbone when her handlers didn’t catch her during one of their routines. She was in 8th grade at the time. She switched to the drill team with much better results.

THESE are cheerleaders, not the flat-chested short little mutants colleges have these days.

About 20 years ago. In fact more time is lost from practice/game time from cheerleading injuries than any other sport. I have a niece who did competitive cheerleading and broke both ankles, both wrists, tore her PCL all cheerleading while tumbling. Got a scholarship to an SEC school to cheer though.
