George Washington was a slave-owner. It is clear from that fact alone, in the interest of peace and harmony, decency and fairness, sensibility and sanity, and in an effort to avoid any insensitivity toward all of our peoples, especially the indigenous and the non-citizen immigrant, let alone long-suffering great-great-great-great-great grandchildren of former slaves, that the capital city of our fair land must be re-named. Some of the leading candidates are listed below. Please feel free to add your own:

Need a global standard Washington replacement name and image for: quarters, dollars, DC, state, Mount Washington, Washington slept here, George Washington Carver, monuments, documents....
All replaced with the same name and/or image.
Get it right the first time. Good practice for when we replace: Seattle, Jefferson, Joan of Arc, Obama, Lee....
Eventually, everything will be named after MLK.

The name Columbia has its root with Mr. Columbus so it must be discarded also.
