Forget EMP. At some point the Iranians will simply hack one of the three power grids. Most likely the NE power grid. That’s why we have a garage full of food and giant blue containers of water along with a gravity water filter. And enough guns and ammo to hang onto it for about 6 mos.

Agreed. Fooling around with the unknowns of an EMP nuclear explosion is more expensive and complicated than simply hacking the power grid. And the end result will be the same: the deaths of lots and lots of people and the end of our country as we know it.
