Everything is so interlinked that I had forgotten about this detail (see, I really need to always check my lists):

Exodus 4

2. And the Lord said to him, What is that in your hand? And he said, A rod:
3. And he said, Throw it to the ground; And he threw it to the ground, and it became a serpent (nachash); and Moses fled from it:

The rod (mateh, מטה, which also means tribe) that became a serpent = 54 = Obama (אובמה).

(54 is also the gematria of Dan דן, meaning judge.)

Gen 49.17. Dan shall be a serpent (nachash) by the way, an adder in the path, that bites the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward:

Obama/mateh/Dan, all = 54, and all serpents. Interesting data point. Just thought I'd point that out. It's the sum of the numbers 2-10.
