The 15th of the first month was Nisan 15, the date of the Exodus. Then the next day starts the 7 week/49 day count to the 6th of Sivan, the day the Law was given.

I had only included that to show the parallel with the flight no. - a 15 followed by a 49.

The date of the Miracle on the Hudson was a play on the dates, being January 15, the 15th day of the first month, just as the text actually reads.

Hard to miss the date pun, though, what with all the other blatant symbols.

Maybe you recall that on President Trump's inauguration day, people were fixated on the Smithsonian clock tower because of news images of the crowd size, if the clock were busted or not (it was).

It was stuck on 1:15.
