The white guys had a Permit to Protest and Rally, all legal like. Correct??
The ANTIFA Brownshirts showed up Without a Permit and began to Protest ILLEGALLY. Correct??
The Police Department REFUSED to Enforce the Law against the ANTIFA Brownshirts for TRESPASSING, Disturbing the Peace, and Holding an Illegal Protest. Correct??
The Police Department willfully and knowingly steered the ANTIFA Brownshirts into the same area as the White Guys. Correct??
I believe I am correct on all 4 points.
WHY HASN’T THE US ATTORNEY ARRESTED AND CHARGED THE POLICE CHIEF AND ALL OFFICERS THERE WITH MURDER,Maybe even the Mayor and Governor if it can be shown they took part in this, under the Felony Murder Rule??

Those in power and the people who work for them are generally protective of the organizations and institutions they work for, as well as their own careers and their parochial political interests. So, you have to listen to what they say in that context.
At the very least, its safe to say they are NOT inclined to acknowledge hard facts and truthfulness when it runs counter to their own agendas and job security. To the contrary, they are highly likely to engage in distractions and “verbal distortions” to manipulate perceptions
It is always healthy to be skeptical. I think the Founding Fathers were a skeptical lot — for good reason. They had a fear of big government.

#2 is not correct, apparently the Neo-Communist Blackshirt AntiFa types did have a permit, albeit for another nearby park.
The governor’s failure to use the State Police to keep the two groups separated was an egregious failure on his part for which he deserves much opprobrium.
The only thing I would add is it’s been reported that the guy who set up the event in the first place recently became a “white supremacist”. He’s a DNC activist, Bammy supporter, and a member of OWS!
