I disagree that the time to go after antifa publicly is after one of them is run over by a Nazi. I realize you are an expert in communications, but generally when someone is run over by a Nazi, people rally to their side, even if said person or said side is undesirable in general.

They’re antifa, they are going to do something stupid on camera between now and the mid terms. Guaranteed.
So, it’s smarter to attack the shit out of the Nazis (in a Presidential way), David Duke, race sepratists, etc., & play it smart and wait for antifa and BLM to get caught in the act.
When you do, even if the media covers, at least the currents are running your direction in the public conversation.
Get the DOJ and the FBI after VA politicians, wedge the police between them and the truth.
These are amateur hour mistakes in politics.
Anytime a President gets an opportunity to go live on TV and denounce nazism it should be a lay up and bring about some political capital to spend later, not result in fallout which is what is happening right now.
Trump is exactly what our country needs right now. He is surrounded by vipers and fighting like hell. I just think this one could have been handled better.
President Trump DID denounce it but he also named all the bad actors in this play. Have you not read here? The political capital is great here and with the American people.
