DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — Durham County Sheriff Mike Andrews announced Tuesday morning that the sheriff’s office will be investigating and trying to identify and charge the protesters who took part in the toppling of a Confederate statue outside the old Durham County courthouse Monday evening.

It’s SOP. If a group of White Supremists had torn down and ruined a statue of MLK Jr., you know the police would have been just as deferential.

I trace this current strife back to the New York Liberal Democrat ran "news" media who have been agitating for racial confrontations at every opportunity.
Hillary couldn't get the magic minority vote that Obama could pull, and so the media tried to gen it up during the election, and then when it didn't work, they decided to use their same talking points ("Trump is a racist") to undermine him and help defeat Republican candidates in the off year election.
The media are basically a propaganda arm of the Democrat party, and they never stop with their accusations and insinuations. They never stop because grievance groups are one of the sources of Democrat power in elections.

That’s probably true, but the Democrat strategy is doomed to fail. Democrats have simply been too successful at demonizing whites. They counted on their minority constituencies to be able to differentiate between white conservatives and white Leftists.
Those days are over. The reason Maxine Waters floated the idea of starting a black party is because her people of color no longer like or trust whites period—regardless of party affiliation. They only support fellow blacks.
The Democrats let this genie out of the bottle. They’ll never get it back inside.
A funny thing happened on the way to the French Revolution. All the wives and children of the Wealthy Aristocrats who had been agitating for "change", suddenly found themselves on the wrong end of a Guillotine.
Apparently it never occurred to these spoiled brat liberals that agitating against the group of which you were a member was a very foolhardy thing to do.

I pray that the people of this city and county vote to re-install the Confederate Statue! And I hope that the judge in the case requires all those convicted to PAY for the statue to be repaired and replaced!!
And lastly, if they refuse to pay I hope they are jailed and then the “good citizens” of that county have to use their CURRENT tax dollars to re-install a 1920’s statue!!!
