So why the controversy to begin with? The statue wasn't going to a museum, it was being sold/auctioned off to enrich black-specific programs. In order to diffuse the statue controversy that Bellemy started pimping last year, the city originally agreed to $4M worth of entitlement funding, including $50K for each black to get a ged, $50K annually for any black living at 80% below AMI "to have scholarships to go to our local community college", etc., because equality isn't enough - equity is the name of the game, according to the below interview. Except after the ink was dry in the paper, Bellemy wasn't satisfied. (I didn't see any mention as to how blacks are screened for their $50K-100K each annually). Here's Bellemy describing his little scheme (was it hatched at the Natl Ground Intel Center?):

So where we are now is right back to the same old, same old. Finger-pointing and racemongering is in full flame to distract us, when it's obvious it's well beyond time to have a serious national discussion, a discussion where more than one side is listened to. Or we can wait for it to escalate a little more and a little more and a little more until there will be nothing left to discuss and no one willing to listen.

well, your comment is exactly why I posted the thread because your sentiment is the theme of both videos. The more politicians are intimidated into apologizing, and refuse to publically acknowledge a legitimate grievance exists, that men, especially white men, feel disenfranchised, that it’s persistent and it’s growing, the hotter the fire is going to burn.

Either we sit down as a nation and get honest with each other that there really has been a war on white boys for two decades that needs to end and end now, (which started with PC condemnation of comics’ stereotypical jokes leaving white boys the only comic target acceptable and moving on to dehumanization tactics like the knock-out polar bear hunt) or the camel’s back will break. And the longer we postpone the reality of the conversation, the more fringe groups will recruit craziness.

We can start with acknowledging that those folks who’s families trace back 300 or 400 years deserve just as much respect as that demanded for a ‘refugee’. Nationalism is normal, it’s healthy and people who take pride in their state and their country are more trusting and stable societies - and more likely to fight to defend that country. Yet national pride, history, and heritage is demonized - but only western civilization. It’s time for the degradation and bullying by globalists who have no stakes in the game to end. It’s time for people being beat on for having differing opinions to end and for race-baiting to end as a professional occupation. It’s time civil rights were applied to everyone - equally. Anyone not hearing the message being repeated over and over and over again with less and less patience, not just in this country but all over Europe, needs a hearing aid.
