Stephen King was always great at writing fiction. I guess this is just more of it.

I gave up on King towards the end of the last millennium.

Except for the occasional car accident (iirc, he was the injured jogging party...), and him buying radio stations to keep Limbaugh off the air in his locale, I don't pay attention to him.

Agree. King is a great writer (maybe the best), but his politics are screwy. You see that in his books too.

Only somewhat good at writing fiction. I was talking to another freeper last week about this - King starts off with a good idea for a book, then it craps out as he loses interest in it. Only a handful has he ever really resolved. Most he just craps out on by writing some lame garbage just to finish it. Probably the worst I ever read of his was “Dreamcatcher”, just an absolutely horrendous book and even that was made into a movie.
