Some things are just better done in the field. There is so much you can’t simulate in a VR environment.

[[There is so much you can’t simulate in a VR environment.]]

Exactly- for instance, how do you simulate exhaling while slowly and deliberately squeezing the trigger so as not to jerk the trigger? How do you simulate having a blackfly land in your eye right as you’re about to take the shot? How do you simulate sweat dripping into your eye, blurring your vision? (I guess that could be done digitally by blurring the scene a bit)- how do you simulate being stung by fireants as you’re lining up your shot? Heat Stroke? Body odor distraction? Dust causing urge to sneeze? mosquitos biting you? Hornets nests? Angry chupacabras menacing you? Thoughts of fight you had with spouse earlier that day? indigestion from chalupas at taco bell? Headache from the sun?

So many things can’t be simulated digitally-
