Yeppers.... I believe caned salmon has a shelf life of five years...it would last longer then that if you can keep the can from rusting... Lots of protein and nutrients there...

I take those expiration dates with a huge grain of salt.
Couple months ago I found a can of Margaret Holmes field peas in my pantry with an expiration date of ‘01.

They were absolutely delicious. Seriously!

BTW - I can about 100 quarts of stuff from my garden each season.
