Here in Kansas City I have noticed more and more female lawyers wearing high heels............High heels provide way more support than flats.. I fell in my garage on my way to court and BROKE MY FOOT wearing FLATS because I was carrying my heels to court.
After a year long recovery during which I researched proper footwear, I learned the stiffer the sole, the better the shoe is for your foot. So, if you can bend, twist etc. the shoe, flat or heel, ditch it. The best shoes have very stiff soles.
