The 68 had to have much better aerodynamics than my 67 with the same engine (tri-carb 435hp). About the time I hit 135, the front end had risen so high I had a hard time seeing where it was going.

The car was not done accelerating by any means.

I think Im saying the same thing.....front end was so light i couldnt keep it in 3 lanes of interstate....a couple of more MPH and id have been airborne

and the same story...I had a lot of tach left....
