“Can someone explain the appeal of this pretentious jackass? Talk about somebody famous for being famous...”

The first season of Bourdain’s show was cool. I spent 7 formative years in SE Asia, I saw a lot of what he was eating... being eaten, so it held a fascination with me watching some joker eating those tidbits on TV. Bourdain’s eats and likes peasant fare of culinary delictibles made offal... He will eat anything.

Guy, on the other hand (to me) seems to be conducting a some odd cardiovascular dare each and every time he sinks his teeth into a greased up menu item. I find that fascinating as well. As a former military cook and later formerly trained at my occupational specialty (before I got a clue) ... I can relate.

Don't be led astray!

Animal fats are our designed source of energy, and are perfectly healthy if we are normally active.

Poly unsaturated fats are a total attack on our bodies, and are all carcinogenic to the max (see Ottoboni study), and can lead to type II diabetes.
