But that said, you’d think that a well off professional woman would know better than to trust a matchmaking service.

A friend and coworker of mine suggested I “take a look” at a matchmaking site-to humor him, I did-but a look was enough. The place was populated by guys looking for either a purse or a nurse, or stalkers I wasn’t about to even give my name to. I later found out my friend had gone to that site himself to find women-until his wife found out, that is...

I decided I’d stay peacefully without a man, but my Nemesis-the lover from college-still one fine macho cowboy-came around again and wouldn’t hear “no”-he sort of stalked me-called, texted me at work, left notes on the gate on his way from work, etc for weeks till I agreed to go to dinner-he’s now T5’sguy,-worked out fine, no matchmaking service-better the devil you know...
