I think I'm beginning to see what you might mean. Lately, I am getting a whiff of Cersi Lanister from Danerys. Her sense of entitlement, that just because she is a Targaryen, she should sit on the Iron Throne. Last season, I think, Tyrion likened her to the Mad King. She wasn't happy about that; but, he pointed out that she was talking about burning down everything. I was agreeing with Tyrion then, and I occasionally remember that when watching her character development.
Perhaps they are going to address this little problem in next week's episode, because the previews have Varis telling Jon that he has to talk to her. This after they show the scene where she is insisting everyone bend the knee or die.
I think I was believing, like most people, that Dany would eventually get the Iron Throne. Now, I'm not so sure. And, I'm not so sure I want her to.
I’m voting for Tyrion to get the Iron Throne, as the only one of the bunch who is moral enough and psychologically stable enough to make a decent ruler, long term. Jon Snow would also qualify, but I don’t think he would want it.
