I like the short easy-to-type name. It comes up fast with a very nice full-screen picture that changes daily.
Do you suppose there’s company underneath all of the “visible” search engines that provides the database that is searched. It’s hard to believe that all of the visible search engines created and are maintaining their own database.
A lot of those ‘alternatives’ use Google or Bing. Yahoo uses Bing.
Google Advanced Search seems the best for research that is more serious.
