It’s not a matter of “if”, it’s a matter of “how” the dead bird will be used to prove that global warming exists.
They measured the length of the feathers and discovered that they are about 0.013 microns shorter than those from a similar bird from current times. It proves that due to global warming, birds are now requiring longer feathers to maintain lift in the warmer atmosphere.
The only question that remains is "At what point will humans heat up the air so much that birds will no longer be able to fly, and how will this catastrophic development impact all forms of life on our fragile planet?"
The only real solution is more taxes.
The movie "Gigi" (the Caron version, not sure about the original French version) has a scene of Gigi eating a thrush, an ortolan.
Check out how ortolans have been eaten for the last 150 years. Deep fried, and with a napkin covering the diner's head. If you're religious, it's to hide the sinfully delicious act from God. If you're not, then the covering "traps the vapors..."
Oh, and I'm 99.44% sure the EU has them listed as "endangered" from over hunting (netting?).
