They’re very destructive animals. They tore our back porch railing apart looking for termites in the wood. Fortunately they moved on, and we haven’t seen any more for a year or so.

My wife and I, together with some neighbors, began feeding the poor feral cats around here several years ago. Then, the coons began showing up and I began to have second thoughts. But suddenly, they all the raccoons disappeared and we didn’t see any for quite a while, months. Now, whenever we see one (on our security cameras), he’s usually not long for this world. I think one of our neighbors may be killing them, and the gentleman’s not going to get any complaints from me! I don’t like to see any animal get hurt, but these things are just too nasty, destructive and unhealthy to have around.

The best way to treat raccoons near your home is a 45acp.

I really don’t like them.
