"Pinball Wizard" by the Who for Harry Potter, with the slight substitution of Quidditch for pinball.

Very grateful, PhilSC. They have been such fun to make and sharing them is just joy. Spent part of the day putting up a video I made in 1987 from footage a dear friend shot of his new baby. I love how much love can be stuffed in two minutes.

I Can See for Miles - for Miles O’Brien in Deep Space 9?

Boris the Spider - for the spider in Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter?

Not everything is about politics, so don’t sweat it. Nice edits, and it fits Quiddich very well. I love classic rock mash-ups and can’t believe how cleverly some are able to edit not just the audio but the video to create a hybrid that never existed before. Good job!

That version doesn’t have enough steel guitar.

Thanks, bigbob. I truly appreciate your kindness. I love classic rock. When I was making videos for the IBM VP, he would let me learn stuff by going to an editing studio for my opening, or hiring a steadicam operator, or some such. I was amazed by what they were able to do by layering, something I never had the capacity for in the IBM studio my husband built. I taught almost a generation of fanvid makers to make these and I was always tough on the students to be precise in their edits. Drove them crazy at the time, but I think they appreciated the good habits later. My brother, by the way, is 6’4” and large, also Bob, so another one who shops at Big and Tall.

That’s because I was running out of quiddich scenes so cut one of the long music bridges out. Usually I’d use a music bridge to set or continue a theme, but the theme had been pretty well ground into the dirt by the time the bridge came along.
