I hate it. I’m in culinary school and the most pretentious students have tattoos climbing up their neck. It is such a fad among chefs that they actually issued a coffee table book of their tattoos.

Yuck! It is proscribed for Jews & Catholics although no one follows that little rule.

my kid is half Jew/half Catholic so i will tell her she is in double trouble.

In my family we do so far practice the no tattoos religious proscription. I wish extraneous piercings weren’t allowed either! (No problem with ears and a few mild other places but rings under the nose, privates, yuck.
